The FifteenB Consort (Rowena Wells, Robert Hugill, Katie Boot, John McLeod)

Entrance to both concerts is free but there will be a retiring collection for the venue involved

In two striking churches, Victorian St. Matthew's Westminster and All Saints' Church Tudeley with its complete collection of stained glass by Marc Chagall, the 4 person FifeenB Consort will be giving a programme of contemporary and renaissance sacred music. The programme is centred on Heinrich Isaac's Missa Solemne in which Isaac alternates plainchant with elaborate polyphonic sections. The mass will be preceeded by plainchant from Palm Sunday and interspersed with motets on a Lenten theme. Two contemporary motets will be included, O Crux Ave by the Lithuanian composer Rihards Dubra and a new motet by Robert Hugill.
